Christopher Keller

Managing Director, ASK Keller GmbH

Christopher worked in hybrid M&A and strategy roles for a PE portfolio company and The Telegraph in London after studying Finance and Behavioural Economics in Germany, Australia, and Central America. Since then, he has held interim CFO/Head of Finance positions in early stage startups and worked as a strategy consultant for a range of organisations.

Christopher is also an accredited Executive Coach and lecturer in organisational behaviour and change management. As a native English and German speaker, he splits his time between London, Berlin and Munich.

  • Christopher has extensive experience taking on interim CFO/Head of Finance or Chief of Staff roles to support CEOs during major transitions and fundraising.

    During these engagements, he will act as an “air-traffic controller,” triage cross-team requests, guard the calendar, add agendas and pre-reads, eliminate unnecessary meetings, turn ad-hoc chaos into repeatable operating systems, and remove decision bottlenecks that so often drive founder/CEO burnout.

    Additionally, Christopher may own OKR-linked side-projects, build sophisticated financial models and slide decks, or lead negotiations with external stakeholders.

  • Christopher has also worked for a number of clients in an external advisory capacity. These engagements have included:

    • Implementing the EOS™ strategic planning and traction framework for a psychology-data-tech (A.I.) start-up;

    • Advising a major U.S. news and business publication on its market entry in the U.K., incl. market review and financial modelling;

    • Advising a leading European venture capital fund on its seed-stage investment in a news media aggregation start-up;

    • Delivering strategic projects for the U.K.’s No.1 subscription-based EV-charging and route-planning app provider;

    • Planning and delivering a digital transformation strategy for a leading Dutch university, incl. a go-to market for a digital degrees; and

    • An Automotive SaaS start-up Series A, project-managing the process and preparing all materials, incl. slides and the financial model.

  • Christopher is a fully accredited executive coach who works with business leaders and individuals who are striving to achieve real transformational change in a short period of time.

    Recent engagements have included:

    • A newly appointed manager who was clashing with her team. Coaching helped her understand how her own strengths were undermining her in the context of her team’s dynamics. By becoming aware of assumptions she was making, as opposed to what she actually knew about her team, as well as seeing herself from a different point of view for the first time, she was able to address these issues head-on and achieve an outcome that positively impressed everyone, including her.

    • A newly appointed CEO who had been given a mandate for a large restructuring which would also involve laying off senior leaders in the business. Coaching helped him reach critical decisions faster, and to prepare for difficult conversations in a way that allowed him to stay to true to his values and achieve results that impressed his board.

    • A serial founder who was weighing up very different career options. Coaching helped him identify what was really important to him and uncovered some surprising truths about what wasn’t. This helped him decide where to focus his energy.

    • A Senior Strategy Director who had become disillusioned in her role and wanted to explore a career change. Coaching helped her identify her core values, strengths, and what she enjoys doing most. This unlocked insights that guided her decisions with greater confidence.

I’d love to get to know you!
